Wednesday
(2/14/01) we visited Andalucia in Spain. Cor and Riet decided to stay home, so Margo and I
took off by our selves in the morning. We drove to Huelva and walked around the old town
center. A Dutch couple, we had met in Cabanas, had told us about the shells they had
collected on the beach of Punta Umbria. Since every thing was closing in Huelva for siesta
for the next 3 - 3.5 hours we drove to the beach of Punta Umbria. The beach is very very
wide and there are so many shells, it took us about 10 minutes to fill a big bag. The dark
line in the sand are all shells. |
