This year I went for another visit to Cor and Riet while they were in Portugal. I booked a trip for two weeks to get away from the winter in New Jersey. Kris decided to tag along for a couple of days. We left New Jersey in the middle of a snow storm, one and a half hour late. The next morning we arrived in Lisbon where it was sunny, but cool. From Lisbon we flew to Faro in the Algarve. Riet and Cor picked us up at the Faro airport. And a little over an hour later we were in Monte Gordo, where they were staying at the Dunamar Aparthotel. That afternoon they took us to their favorite hangout: the "Branco E Preto", a Dutch Eetcafe. Over next couple of days, because of the weather, we spend a little more time inside instead of on the terrace than planned. Still, we had a great time and it was great to have the Dutch snack food with our drinks.
